Can this idea be progressed as it is quite an obsacle for us. We have scenarios where Engineers need to have more than one manual open at a time and although there is the option to download the manual as a PDF, we really want to avoid this otherwise it runs the risk of having un-controlled copies being saved locally on computers used by multiple users.
Thank you for the update. This would be a really useful function as often a Manual or Document makes reference to other Documents/Files in the Document Library, therefore it would be practical to be able to open more than one document, without having to open multiple tabs/URLs.
I have tested a bit further and have been able to open multiple pdfs at the same time by copying the Urls into new tabs. Making the interface open in a new window is still a change so I will change this idea back to gathering interest.

Unfortunately with the PDF control there is no way to show multiple documents without using multiple tabs.
