Is it possible to develop a shortcut key (? function key?) that inserts the time; date; user into whatever space is being typed in? It would help us keep track of who has made what changes or updates to a booking in our Scheduler, and when those updates were made.
So if we were updating the Task Details, the user could just hit a shortcut key (ie. F5) which would input the current time, date, and user ID?
This is for the process of auditing, more about knowing who to talk to regarding any changes made to bookings details. We have at least 3 people likely to be making changes to scheduled bookings, so it’s helpful to know who has done what, and when. It keeps a timeline of changes, especially for bookings with multiple changes due weather etc.
So what we want is a quick way for someone to add those details (current time; date and user making the edit) when they amend something in the booking.
