Recency updates currently get sent to a user. When the user is absent or terminated it is not always obvious that nobody is receiving the notifications anymore. If the updates were assigned to a role and the role allocated to a user then it would simplify notification delegation

This would be very helpful, it would also save us having to go into every recency item when someone leaves and update with a new person. We could just change the name of the person in the role.
