At present the custom and built in fields available for global reporting are queried upon creation of the report. This means that, for example, an existing global report on flight records cannot be edited to include a new custom field was created after the global report was created.
It would be helpful for the custom field query to be run every time Step 2 is visited. This would reduce the need to recreate global reports whenever an edit is made to the custom fields that are present in most reporting modules.

Yes this would be a great fix as Ive just had to recreate a bunch of reports because of this!
