Generation of Certificates From Check Forms and Exams

Many regulators require that pilots carry certificates for recency items such as a PPC with them when working as flight crew. It would reduce manual labour if the system could draw information from the check form and the crew member's profile to create a certificate indicating a pass of that check/exam.

Nice features to have would be:

  • The ability to turn this on or off per check form type or exam

  • The ability to customise what information is included in the certificate

    • First prize would be the ability to customise the certificate content and layout per check form type.

  • The ability to automatically attach this certificate to the recency item updated by the check form/exam

I would like the same for the in house exams. Ideally customise your own certificate and once there is a pass on the recency item/exam, the certificate is automatically generated and added to the recency and included on the certificate, at least the license number and name of the candidate with the expiry date

The certifcates ultimately need to be signed by both the instructor / DFE and the pilot, so if this could be tied in to any electronic signature development that would be ideal.
