There is an option in the library to use a browser-based PDF viewer so you do not have to download files to view them.
In all other parts of the site (even manual alerts that are pointing at the library) clicking on a PDF file downloads it to the user's device. It would be nice if files could be opened in a new tab of the browser rather than having to open it or search for it once it has been downloaded. It would be great if this functionality could be expanded to image formats such as PNG and JPEG as well.
